A Drum Roll Please..
August 11th, 2009
To my loyal readers.. a drum roll please.. we finally have photos of the New Bathroom! I hope it lives up to all the hype! I’m not sure where to start so I am just going to jump in. (For a refresher of what it used to look like click here.)
Enjoy!
Shew.. It feels good to get that out there! Now the pressure starts with catching you guys up on what we’ve been up to in the Kitchen. As we speak Mr. vB is busy drawing up some new ideas. I feel a trip to Ikea in our very near future!

About dang time!
WOW! It looks fabulous! I can’t wait to get up there and see it in person!
Just gorgeous girl…you must feel like you are visiting the spa everyday! love it. Now is THIS why you haven’t called me back since Sunday? ha ha, just kidding. I have been busy with a very nasty stomach virus anyway. Hope to see all your projects soon when I am germ free. xo
I love it Totty! Nice work! You and Mr. vB don’t waste any time jumping into the next project either — I can’t wait to see the kitchen as it progresses.
Keep up the great work!
Ahhhhh! I love the wallcovering!! Everything is gorgeous.
Looks so good, Totty!! I like how you incorporated the DMB poster through the color scheme! Great work!!!
Stumbled here from Young House Love…I have to say that I LOVE the DMB poster in the bathroom…if only I could convince my husband to do that in our bathroom!! Beautiful!
WOW… great job! It looks fantastic!
Wow, it’s amazing! Glad you shared it with YHL!
I saw your renovation on Young House Love and just wanted to give you big kudos. I’m stunned. It’s beautiful.
wow! what a difference. love the floor tiles and that the room radiates such a calm feeling. very well done!
Stopping by from YHL to say that I LOVE your bathroom! I’m torn between 2 elements as my favorite: the wallpaper and the DMB poster. I would love to see how the entire poster looks in that awesome frame. Great job and now I’m going to peruse your blog.
I love what you did! It looks wonderful! I was wondering where you got your shower shelves. That’s such a stylish way to store the necessities.
The wallpaper is really lovely – and I love the Dave Matthews poster. You guys did an amazing job. I’ll be following you!
LOVE the bathroom!! I have to know though, where did you get the fantastic Buddah from?!
We got it from Target! It’s on the aisle with the candles and candle holders!
I picked up the wire shelves in the shower room from Restoration Hardware. They were a bit of an investment, but well worth every penny!
Where did you get the sink from? How did you mount them like that. Currenlty remodeling my bathroom!
Hello from Canada!
Just wanted to say congrats, the re-vamp looks totally fab!!!
Keep up the great work!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your counter and sinks! If you don’t mind where did you get them?
The counter top is actually 2 planks of 1.5″ Oak that Mr. vB glued together. After the glue set, he sanded, stained and poly-urethaned! That simple.
As for the sinks- click this link. http://www.homeandstone.com/detail.cfm?Group_ID=943&Product_ID=5277 They may not be the EXACT ones, but they are close!
Similar sinks are here. http://www.homeandstone.com/detail.cfm?Group_ID=943&Product_ID=5277
We just drilled a hole big enough for the drain, and the bowls sit directly on the coutner top.
WOW! i literally gasped outloud!! saw your remodel from Young House love and i have to say you did an awesome job. seeing those ikea storage units made me realize that is exactly what i need for my bathroom, and would match my bamboo wood. Did you stain the wood because on the site it looks lighter than in your pics!
again fantastic job!
and i have similar bamboo boxes on my sink and trust me, yours is a lot more clutter free !
