I’ve got another great sandal for you guys to snatch up!

Have you ever heard of the Jack Rogers Navajo Sandal?  They’ve been around since the 60’s when Jackie O made them famous by sporting them around and they “swiftly became the footwear of choice for resort-chic dressing.”  {No I didn’t come up with that statement myself.  It is straight from the Jack Rogers Website!} Ooh-la-la!!

Their price tag is a bit steep, but leave it to good old Tar-gee to do a more budget friendly version.

Target- Enid Whipstich by Merona…$19.99

Rack Room Shoes is getting in on the action too!  A little pricer than the Target version, but they have a nice wedge heel.

(Online they only show this brown option, but I know stores are carrying gold and silver versions too!)

There are definitely subtle differences, but to save $50 to $70 smack-o-roos I think I could live with them.  What about you?

Have you guys ever heard of Switch-Flops by Lindsay Philips??  They are flip flops that have interchangeable Velcro straps that allow you to have “unlimited choices with minimal effort.” {that last part was straight from the website}

I realize I totally missed Shoe of the Month for March, but I just didn’t find any worthy of the award.  I’ve been constantly checking my budget friendly haunts  {Payless and Target} and nothing has impressed me.  I did find these today… not sure how they would look with my pale skin, but maybe with a little tan??  What do you guys think?

It’s a new month… time for a new shoe!

I always get giddy when I recieve my Boden USA catalogue in the mail.  I love their clothes and style.  Only problemo is their price tag!  Most everything that catches my eye is a bit expensive- but oh-so cute!

They did not disappoint in their latest catalogue..

Butterfly Slingback Flats… $118

{they come in 3 colors- turquoise, yellow, and pewter which are all very cute!}

The Turquoise makes me think that Spring is right around the corner, even if reality is telling me there is 10″ of snow outside to dig out from!!

These are a definite splurge but I AM IN LOVE!

Hunter Boots

I spied the Silver ones at Nordstrom over Christmas and I was head over heels… Then I checked out the price tag…

$115 buck-a-roos! GULP!

Wonder if I can find them anywhere for under $75.

Then I could also afford the Fleece Socks to tuck into my new silver boots.

I think I could justify this purchase if I lived in Seattle, but here in Richmond it just doesn’t rain enough.  So we are either going to have to move, or I’m just going to have to keep dreaming.

As promised, I am back- relaxed and refreshed from Thanksgiving Break with a great new shoe that might just need to find a new home in my closest and yours.

Now I know that not everyone is a fan of the new “bootie” boot style. (everyone means you Rebecca)   But I am!!  I have seen several styles that have caught my eye, these being my latest favorite.

I know.. a bit of an investment, but aren’t they cute?  I am trying to decide if I have anything in my closet that I could wear with them.

{Okay-I’m going to be honest with you guys.  If you looked in my closet you would see about 20 pairs of black/or semi black heels and not a single pair of brown.  Is that weird?  I’ve never been a brown person so most of the dress clothes I wear are black, hence the need for 20 or so black pairs of heels..hehe.. good justification right?  But I am feeling the need to break from this mold.  I’ve already got my brown Frye Boots- they just arrived yesterday- so I am off to a good start.  The only draw back about purchasing brown shoes is that I will now need to go shopping for some brown dress clothes.. oh such dilemmas!!  But just an FYI.. a little birdie told me that Ann Taylor Loft will give you 25% off if you buy a pair of pants and a shirt! I think the stars are aligning and fate is telling me that I need a new BROWN outfit from head to toe!  I mean I do have that $$ we made from the yard sale burning a hole in my pocket.
